Graceling

Gracling by Kristin Cashore was fricking Amazing!!!

Summary:
In a world where people are born with an extreme skill called a Grace are feared and exploited, Katsa carries the burden of a skill that even she despises: the Grace of killing. She lives under the command of her Uncle Randa, King of the Middlums, and is expected to execute his dirty work, punishing and torturing anyone who displeases him.
When she firsts meets Prince Po, who is graced with combat skills, Katsa has no hint of how her life is about to change.
She never expects to become prince Po's friend.
She never expects to learn a new truth about her own Grace or about a terrible secret that lies hidden far away... a secret that could destroy all seven kingdoms with words alone.

What I thought:
You have no idea how much I love this book, there was everything that a person could ask for! Death defying adventure, an amazing romance, a mesmerizing world like nothing else youve ever heard, and characters that no one can ever forgot all rolled together in one amazing kiss ass book!! Graceling is the first book written by Kristin Cashore and it is absolutely extraordinary, she has been able to write a novel that shows how determined a person can be to prove themselves to the world. Katsa has never really known her place but over time she was able to find a place where she exactly belongs and she has discovered what she truly can be. I absolutely love Katsa and Po their relationship throughout the book was something that I could just scream for joy, both of them are the strongest most determined characters and make the power couple of all the books I've ever read. Move over Edward and Bella cause here comes Katsa and Po, those two can kick anyones butts no questions asked!
Kristin Cashore was able to treat readers with a compelling story that will suck you in from the very first paragraph and leaves you wanting more and more. Cashore was able to make incredible believable characters with depth that can relate to the older generations and younger generations.
If you have yet to read this book then I suggest that you go out and buy this book NOW! The next book comes out in October, its called Fire and its a prequal to Graceling.

"I will not go," Katsa said,"for a long time. I'll not go until you want me to; or until youre ready to go yourself"
